In 2019 Whitegate was brought on to provide HR services to a restaurant group based in Charleston, S.C. with concepts in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Working alongside executive management we planned for their new restaurant opening on St. Thomas - The Easterly. Whitegate enjoyed dialing in job descriptions, recruitment platforms, hiring and onboarding all FOH and BOH personnel.

We created a culture and a family, so to speak. Hospitality training is where our heart lies and applying these values of service in the form of employee manuals and position training makes for a well-oiled machine. Setting up wage agreements and employee benefits to creating employee surveys and analyzing this data, gave way to streamlining operations and creating the foundation for organized standard operating procedures. We love assisting employees and cultivating a team that will create lasting memories for the staff and successful business for the operators.
